Our place is on 6/B Banneraghatta Road, specifically down the 6th Cross in R K Puram. If you know where Shoppers Stop is, we’re pretty close to that. It’s a busy part of town. This hall has been here for a while now. Running a mantapa isn't easy because there is always something to fix or clean. One day it’s a wedding, the next it’s a small meeting or a birthday. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and checking the lights. The 560076 area gets crowded, so parking is always a bit of a headache for people coming in. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many people coming through, it's a constant battle. The staff here is just a few local guys who know the building inside out. We don’t have fancy brochures. People usually just walk in and ask if the date they want is free. Sometimes the kitchen area gets a bit chaotic when the caterers arrive with their big stoves. It’s noisy and there’s always someone shouting directions. We’ve seen hundreds of families celebrate here. It feels like a part of the neighborhood fabric. You get used to the sound of the traffic from Banneraghatta Road and the chatter from the nearby shops. It’s just a practical space for people to get together without spending a fortune on a five-star hotel. We just keep the doors open and do the work.
