You can find us on the first floor at Mahalaxmi Puram, right there on 1st A Main Road. The building number is 896/1/3, but most people just look for the stairs near the corner. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a few rooms divided by thin partitions, so you can often hear what’s happening in the next lesson. It’s not perfect, but it’s what we have. The floors are basic tile and we have some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Mahalaxmi Puram is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of local families coming through the door. We spend our days going over the same scales and teaching the basics of different instruments. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the building faces the sun, but we have a couple of fans that do their best. We don't have a big fancy staff, just a few of us who have been playing for years and decided to teach here. The stairs are a bit steep, so people usually arrive a little out of breath. We just tell them to take a minute before starting their practice. It’s a very practical place. No big decorations or anything unnecessary, just the instruments and the students. We just keep our heads down and focus on the lessons every day.
