Music Hub

Koramangala is a pretty fast-paced part of Bangalore, and our spot at 8th Block, 1st Main is right in the middle of it. Music Hub is basically just a few rooms filled with instruments and some old posters on the walls. We get a lot of young people coming in because there are so many offices and colleges around here. The traffic outside on the 1st Main can be pretty loud, so we usually have to keep the windows shut tight. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess with cables everywhere and guitar cases piled up in the corner. We don’t have any fancy marketing or a big lobby. You just walk in, find a chair, and start playing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, or we just play acoustic stuff until it comes back on. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, maybe a bit too relaxed for some, but that’s how we like it. The 8th Block area has a lot of energy, and we try to keep that going inside the hub. We’ve been at this address, number 635, for a while, and the neighbors are used to the sound by now. It’s just a place to come and escape the city noise for a bit, even if we are making our own kind of noise. We don't do anything too formal, just help people learn.
