Mueen Time Centre

Our shop is at 63 Gandhi Nagar, right next to the Sapna Book Stall. It is a great spot because everyone in the city knows where the book stall is. There is a lot of foot traffic here every single day. We deal with all kinds of watches and clocks from morning until evening. The shop is quite small, so it feels a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at the same time. We have glass cases filled with different brands and styles. Some are very old, while some are newer models. We spend a lot of time changing batteries or fixing broken straps for customers. It is the kind of work that keeps your eyes tired by the end of the shift. The street noise from Gandhi Nagar is constant and very loud. You get used to the sounds of horns and people shouting after a while. We usually have the radio playing in the background to try and drown it out. The counter is a bit scratched up from years of heavy use. We do not bother fixing it because it still works just fine for what we need. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for the time or for directions to another street. We have been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture on this street. It is a lot of sitting and focused work. We try to keep the glass clean but there are always fingerprints. It is just a local watch shop doing what we do.
