Our place is located at No.5/39 on the 20th Main road. We are in the Venkateswara Layout part of BTM Layout 1st Stage. It is a quiet residential street for the most part. The shop is on the ground floor. We have a variety of things on our shelves. It’s not a massive supermarket or anything, just a neighborhood spot. We open up around ten in the morning after the local traffic has settled down. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and making sure things are where they belong. We know most of the people who live in the apartments nearby. They stop in to pick up bits and pieces they might have forgotten. The 12th Cross is just a short walk away. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. It’s just the name on the board above the door. Sometimes the power goes out in BTM and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but the neighbors usually stay and chat. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns behind the counter. It can be a bit slow in the afternoons, but things pick up when people are coming home from work. We try to keep things simple and honest. We’ve been in this part of Venkateswara Layout for some time now and it feels like home. It’s a small business, but it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
