Modern Times

You can find Modern Times at 145 Vasanth Nagar. We have been running this shop for a long time now. It is a local place where we focus on watches and clocks. Vasanth Nagar is a nice part of the city, and we like being here. The shop itself is quite small. We have some glass counters where we keep the items we are selling or the ones we are working on. It is not a modern showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It is just a plain shop with a workbench in the back. We spend our time fixing movements and changing batteries for the people who live around here. We get all kinds of visitors. Some are older people who have had their watches for thirty years, and some are younger folks looking for something simple. We like the variety of people we see every day. The street outside can get pretty busy with cars and people walking by, but it is usually quiet inside the shop. We don't do any big advertising or have a big sign. Most people know us because they have lived in the area for a while or their friends told them about us. It is a steady way to live and work. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. It is a simple business, and we are quite content with how things are at number 145. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
