Mid Town Insurance

We are up on the 12th floor, right where Residency Road and Brigade Road meet. It’s a busy intersection and you can hear the horns even from this high up. Mid Town Insurance has been in this building for quite a while. The elevator is sometimes slow, so we get to talk to the other people working in the block. Our office has a great view, though we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. Insurance isn't the most exciting thing to talk about, but it’s what we do. We have rows of filing cabinets and desks piled with forms. It’s a very practical space. We don't have any fancy art on the walls, just some charts and a clock that runs five minutes fast. People come in and out all day. Some are worried about their claims and others are just looking for a better rate. We listen and we fill out the forms. It’s a lot of typing and phone calls. We aren't a big flashy firm. We are just a local office trying to help people get their papers sorted. By the end of the day, the office feels a bit cramped, but we come back every morning and start over. Being in the heart of the city means there is always something happening outside. It keeps us on our toes.
