Microtech Exports

Out here in Jigani, things feel a bit different than they do in the city. Microtech Exports is situated at 72/73, not too far from Bandenallasandra. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of heavy machinery or trucks passing by. Our work revolves around exports, which means a lot of paperwork and even more packing. We deal with international standards, but our daily life is very local. We know the tea seller down the road and the guys at the transport offices. The warehouse gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure crates are sturdy enough for a long journey. It’s a lot of coordination. You’d think an export business would be all high-tech, but it’s mostly just making sure the right items get into the right containers at the right time. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don’t need to say much to get things moving. The yard can get crowded with pallets when a big shipment is due. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a stack of invoices or helping load a truck. It’s just how things work out here in Jigani. We do our job and go home at the end of the shift.
