Micron Mac Engineering Works

Micron Mac Engineering Works is over in Prakash Nagar at number 41492. It’s a workshop where we deal with a lot of metal and machines. There is always a smell of oil and the sound of something being cut or ground down. We do a lot of custom work, which means every day is a bit different depending on what people bring in. It’s a greasy job, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the day. We have a few lathes and some other equipment that we’ve had for a long time. They still work fine as long as you treat them right. Prakash Nagar is a busy spot, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We don't have a front office with a secretary or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back working on a part. We take on small repairs and bigger fabrication jobs too. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend all day fixing our own tools before we can even start on the customer’s work. It’s just how it goes in engineering. We aren't corporate people; we’re just mechanics and machinists who like making things fit together correctly. It takes a lot of patience to get the measurements right, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s second nature now. We just focus on the metal and getting things right.
