Micron Engineeing Industries

We've been here at number 129 in the Nadakerappa Industrial Estate for a good while now. Peenya 2nd Phase is always busy, especially around Hegganahalli Village where the roads get a bit tight. Every morning the shutters go up and we get the machines warmed up. It's loud here but that's just how the estate is. Some of us live close by and walk in, while others have a longer commute through the traffic. Our workshop isn't fancy or anything. It's just a practical space where we handle the engineering work that comes in. There's a small tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. Sometimes the power fluctuates a bit, which is annoying, but we manage. Most of the guys here have been working these lathes and drills for years. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. The floor is usually a bit oily and there are metal shavings everywhere by noon. It's dusty too, because of all the construction happening nearby. We just keep our heads down and finish the batches as they come. People know us by our gate. It's nothing special to look at, just a place where work gets done every single day. We try to keep things organized but in a small shop like this, stuff tends to pile up in the corners. It's a living, you know? Just regular people doing regular shop work.
