Micro Mech Engineers

Micro Mech Engineers is located at F-40/A in Srirampuram, Kalupur. It’s a gritty part of town, which suits us just fine because the work we do is pretty hands-on. Our shop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or a bit of oil here and there. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We have a few old machines that have been running for years, and they make a lot of noise when they’re going, so we end up shouting to hear each other. Most of our day is spent fixing things or making small parts that people need for their own machinery. It’s practical work. We don’t have a fancy front office or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it just picks it up. The air in Srirampuram is usually heavy with the smell of exhaust and metal, but that’s just part of being in this industrial area. We keep our tools on big boards on the walls so we can grab them quickly. Sometimes a neighbor stops by to borrow a wrench or just to see what we’re working on. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don't try to be anything other than a bunch of people who know how to work with metal and get machines running again for whoever needs our help in the neighborhood.
