We’ve been working out of this basement office on Church Street for a while now. Most people know the HBC Centre, and if you head down to the basement, that’s where you’ll find us. It gets pretty busy around here because of MG Road being so close, but we like the energy. We handle travel bookings and sort out hospitality needs for folks who walk in or call us up. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow down here, but we manage to get the work done regardless. It’s just a small team of us sitting around desks piled with papers and brochures. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some chairs for when people come to talk about their trips. It stays cool in the basement even when it’s hot outside, which is a nice perk. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking flight schedules on the computer. If you’re walking past the church or grabbing food nearby, you might miss our sign if you aren’t looking for it. We’ve been at No. 1 for a good stretch of time. It isn't a massive corporate setup, just a practical space where we handle the logistics of getting people from one place to another. We try to keep things straightforward and help out where we can. It’s a lot of coordination and double-checking dates. Usually, we are just focused on the next booking on the list.
