Metro Strar Times

You can find us at Shop No G9, right inside the Soundarya Shrinivas Arcade. We are very close to Rajdhani Lodge, which is a big landmark here in Chickpet. If you have ever been to Chickpet, you know how narrow the lanes are and how much energy the place has. Metro Strar Times is just a small shop where we deal with watches and timepieces all day long. The ticking sounds are everywhere in the background, though after a while you stop even noticing them. We have been in this arcade for a bit, and we know the other shopkeepers around us. The space is small, so we have to be very careful where we put everything. Sometimes it gets a little dark in the back of the shop, so we use a desk lamp to see the small parts we are working on. People come in mostly because they saw our sign while walking to the lodge or the main market area. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s not too crowded to get some fresh air. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different styles, but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
