Mepong Guitar Classes

Our place is over in Indira Nagar, right near the 8th mile stone at 2990/1A. It is a small spot where people come to learn guitar. It stays pretty noisy most days because someone is always practicing a new chord or trying to get a scale right. We started this because there weren't many options for music lessons in this specific neighborhood. The room isn't fancy at all. We have some basic chairs, a bunch of extra guitars leaning against the walls, and some music stands that tend to wobble if you touch them. Most of the people who stop by live just a few streets away. We get a lot of kids coming in after their school day is over, and quite a few adults who finally decided to pick up an instrument after thinking about it for years. Sometimes the strings snap or someone forgets to bring their own pick, but we usually have extras lying around. It gets really busy on the weekends. If you happen to walk past the building, you can usually hear the acoustic strumming or a loud electric solo. We aren't trying to be rock stars or anything, we just want to help people play the songs they like. The setup is simple and we keep things pretty casual. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors are used to the sound by now.
