We've been here at Jayalaxmi Chambers on Residency Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right across from where the old Galaxy Theatre used to be. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore. We just focus on getting the food out to the tables and making sure people have a place to sit and eat. The kitchen gets pretty loud during the lunch rush. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's just us working every day, trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the line gets a bit long, especially on weekends, but we try to move as fast as we can. People coming from the offices nearby usually just want a quick meal before heading back to their desks. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings popping up everywhere. The traffic on Residency Road is always something else, but inside it’s just the usual clatter of plates. We keep the doors open and the stove going from morning until late at night. There isn't a whole lot of decoration or anything like that. We just have the tables set up and the menu ready to go. It’s a straightforward setup for anyone hungry.
