Megadhooth Structural Technologies

We’ve got our office on 4th Cross, Sampige Road, over in the Malleshwaram area of Bangalore. If you know Bangalore, you know that Malleshwaram is one of those places that still feels like the old city. We are at number 46. The road gets really crowded with people shopping for flowers and vegetables, especially on the weekends. Our workspace is pretty basic. We’ve got a few drafting tables and some old computers that we use for all our structural work. There’s usually a lot of dust from the street that drifts in through the windows, so we are always wiping down our screens. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and calculations, trying to figure out how things are going to stand up. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the occasional sound of a heavy bus rumbling past outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the local canteen by name. They bring us breakfast sometimes when we’re working early. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything like that, just a room where we can focus on the technical details. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the power fluctuates, but we just deal with it. It’s a steady pace of life here on Sampige Road, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. It is a decent place to be while we work through our blueprints and data sheets.
