Mc Donalds Family Restaurant Brigade Road

Brigade Road is always a bit of a circus, especially on the weekends when everyone is out walking around. Our place is at number 44/46, right across from where the old Pizza Corner used to be. It is a big building with a lot of windows looking out onto the street. We get all kinds of people coming through the doors—students from the nearby colleges, families out shopping, and tourists who are a bit lost. It is a noisy, high-energy spot because that is just the nature of Brigade Road. Our crew is mostly young people who are constantly on their feet, cleaning tables or standing behind the counters. We don't have a lot of quiet moments here. There is always the sound of the machines and the hum of the air conditioning. We spend a lot of time just managing the crowd and making sure the trash cans aren't overflowing. It is a very different vibe from a quiet sit-down restaurant. Everything moves fast. We don't really have a story to tell other than we are here every day from morning until late at night. The floors get scuffed up from all the foot traffic, so we are always mopping. We just focus on the basics of running a busy kitchen in one of the most crowded parts of the city. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the pace by now.
