Mayank Photography is set up in Kumaraswamy Layout in Bengaluru. We are right by the big water tank, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are. It’s a small studio where we do most of our editing and indoor shots. The space is often cluttered with tripods, lights, and different backdrops. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s more of a personal workspace. Most days, we’re out on the field, but this is where we come back to do the real work. The area around the water tank is familiar to everyone here. We like the quiet vibe of the layout. It gives us room to think. Sometimes we have clients come in to look at their photos on the big screen. It’s a casual thing. We usually have some tea and go through the shots one by one. There’s no rush. We’ve been doing this for a while, starting out with just one camera. Now we have a few more pieces of gear, but the approach is the same. We just take photos of what we see. It’s a simple life. The studio isn't always perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. We take things as they come and try to catch the right light when we can. It’s more of a passion that turned into a regular job over time.
