I have been doing this for quite some time now over in HVR Layout. My place is located right near Bhima Jewellers, so it is usually easy for people to spot. Usually, the shop is filled with tripods and different types of cameras that I have picked up over the years. It is not a huge space, but it works for what I need to do every day. Sometimes the light coming through the front window is just right, and other times I have to mess with the lamps for an hour. People come in looking for different things, maybe a quick photo for a document or something more involved. I spend a lot of time sitting at the desk looking at the monitor until my eyes get tired. The area around Bhima Jewellers stays pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. I often see the same people walking their dogs or heading to the shops nearby. It feels like a real community here. I try to keep things simple and just focus on taking the shots people ask for. There are stacks of memory cards and old prints scattered around the edges of the room. It is a bit messy if I am being honest, but I know where everything is. Every morning I open the shutters and start checking the batteries. It is just me and my gear, trying to make things look okay. I do not have a fancy studio, just this space where I work.
