Jerin Nath Photography

I started this photography thing a few years back. Jerin Nath Photography is based right here on Bannerghatta Road. It’s a busy spot, always a lot of traffic and horns honking outside, but inside it stays pretty quiet for most of our shoots. I mostly take pictures of people and sometimes local events if they aren't too far away to drive to. I’ve always liked how a camera works. It’s not just about clicking a button like some people think. You really have to look at the light coming through the side window and just hope it stays long enough to get the shot right. My workspace isn't fancy at all. There’s a wooden desk, some tall lights, and a lot of memory cards lying around in piles. Sometimes people stop by to ask about headshots or maybe some simple family photos for an old album. I try to keep things very simple. No big speeches or complicated plans about art. Usually, I’m just fiddling with a lens or editing on my old monitor until my eyes start to get tired. It’s a job I really like doing, even when the power goes out or the street noise gets a bit much in the afternoons. Most days involve drinking a lot of coffee and checking the weather if I have to go outside for a shoot. People around here know the place mostly by the small sign near the main road. I’ve lived around Bannerghatta for a long time now, so it made sense to set up shop here.
