Our little shop is in the Shree Veeranjaneya Swamy Complex, specifically at Shop No. 7. It’s over in BTM 2nd Stage, on the 4th Main in Ns Palya. Pvs Photography is where I spend most of my time these days. It’s not a huge studio, but I’ve got my lights and backdrops set up well enough. I do a lot of passport photos and the occasional family portrait when people ask for one. People usually just drop in when they need a quick picture for an application or an ID card. The complex can get a bit loud with all the other shops around us, but it’s a good location to be in. I’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know me by name. Sometimes I have to go out to take photos at events or weddings, so the shop stays closed for a few hours. I try to leave a handwritten note on the door when that happens so people know. Photography is a lot of work with all the editing and printing that comes after the shoot. My printer acts up sometimes, which is a real headache when I'm in a hurry. I don't use any of those fancy filters that make everything look fake. I just try to take a clear, honest picture that looks like the person. It’s a simple business. I like being in Ns Palya because it’s a busy part of town.
