Rishabh Khare Photography

My place is at 202 Laxmi Sadan here in Bangalore. It’s more of a home studio than anything else, which is how I like to work. Rishabh Khare Photography is basically just me and my cameras. I’ve lived in Bangalore for a long time, and I’ve been taking pictures for most of it. The studio space has a lot of natural light coming in during the morning, which helps a lot. I have tripods and backdrops leaning against the walls in the corner. It’s not a perfectly polished gallery or anything like that. It’s a working space where I spend time editing and checking prints. Sometimes the neighbors in Laxmi Sadan are a bit noisy, but it’s a good building overall. I don’t go in for all the fancy marketing stuff you see online. I just take the photos and hope people like what they see. I spend a lot of my time out and about in the city too, not just in the studio. Bangalore has so many interesting spots to see. When I’m back at 202, I’m usually hunched over my desk with a cup of tea, trying to get the colors right on a shot. It’s a quiet life, but I enjoy the process of capturing things as they are. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the lenses and bags, but I know my system and it works.
