Maxwell Dancing School

You can find us over on Himansurai Road in Vivek Nagar. The school is at number 453. It’s a space where we teach dancing to whoever wants to learn. We have some mirrors on the walls and the floors are kept clean for the dancers. It’s not a high-end studio with glass walls, just a regular room that we’ve turned into a dance floor. You can hear the music from the street sometimes when the windows are open. We get all sorts of people coming in—kids after school, adults looking for a hobby. It gets pretty loud and lively in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Delhi, we just like to teach. The building itself is older, but it serves us well. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because it gets dusty fast. There’s a small area to change and some benches for parents to wait. We don’t have a big marketing budget. Most students come because they live nearby or their cousins told them about us. Vivek Nagar is a tight community. We see the same faces every week. It’s a good way to spend the day, watching people figure out the steps. We aren't perfect, sometimes the music player glitches, but we keep the rhythm going regardless. It’s just how we do things here. The classes keep us on our toes and the energy is always decent.
