Our workshop is tucked away on Magadi Road, right near Anupama Vidyalaya. If you’re looking for 16/123, you’ll find us by the sound of the lathes. It’s a bit of a greasy place, to be honest. We’ve got oil on the floors and metal shavings everywhere, but that’s the nature of precision engineering. We take on a lot of different jobs, mostly small parts that people need for bigger machines. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, while other days we’re working late to finish a batch of components. We aren't a huge factory with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us who know how to run the equipment properly. The building isn't much to look at from the outside. We’ve got a heavy metal door that stays open for air because it gets hot inside. Working with metal takes a lot of patience. You can't rush it or the measurements go wrong. We spend a lot of time checking things with calipers. Most of our regulars are local businesses who have been coming to us for years. They know we’re here and they know we just get on with the job. It’s hard work and your hands are always dirty by the end of the day. Magadi Road is always busy, so there’s constant traffic noise outside, but we’re used to it. We just keep the machines humming along.
