Our office is tucked away at S 301 on Dickenson Road, right near the corner of Senapati Bapat Marg. It is a busy area, and the sounds of the city come right through the windows most mornings. We spend our days dealing with a lot of papers and phone calls. People come in because they are confused about their insurance or they need to sort out a claim that got stuck somewhere in the system. We have a few desks set up and some chairs for visitors to sit while we look through their files. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace where we try to get things done. The tea man comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight of our afternoon. Insurance can be a bit of a headache for folks, so we just sit down and go through the fine print together. We have been in this building for a bit now, and we know the security guards and the other people working on the different floors. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we take the stairs. We handle the paperwork for cars, homes, and health stuff too. It is mostly just keeping things organized and making sure the right forms get sent to the right people. When the rain starts, the road outside gets a bit flooded, but we stay dry in here and keep working until it is time to head home. It is just normal office life.
