Mast Kalandar Restaurant Bannerghatta Road

If you know Bannerghatta Road, you know how the traffic is. We are tucked away a bit at No.A/1, right off Purva Heights. It’s a bit of a winding path to get here through 80Ft Road and Ranga Colony Road. Our place, Mast Kalandar, sits in a spot that gets a mix of everyone—people living in the apartments and folks just passing through. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs can be a bit steep. We spend our mornings getting the dough ready and checking the supplies. It’s a constant cycle of prepping and cleaning. The kitchen noise spills out into the dining area, which some people don't like, but that's just how the space is built. We use a lot of different vegetables and flours every day. It gets chaotic during the dinner hours when the delivery drivers are all waiting outside on their scooters. We try to stay organized, but with so many orders, sometimes things get a bit messy. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so we keep the windows open when we can. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while now, watching the new buildings go up around us. It’s just a normal restaurant trying to get the food out on time. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us here on the ground, dealing with the daily rush and the Bangalore rain that sometimes floods the street a little.
