Maruti Engineering Works

Our shop is located at 5 60 1 NS Palya, which is very close to the NS Palya Bus Stand. It is a noisy area because of all the buses coming and going, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We do various types of engineering work here, mostly small repairs and custom parts that people need for their machines. There is always the sound of metal being cut or welded throughout the day. We have some old machines that still work perfectly fine for what we need to do. It is a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered with scraps and tools lying on the benches. We just focus on getting the job done so the customer can get back to their own work. It is not a big factory or anything like that, just a local workshop. We see a lot of people walking by from the bus stand every morning while we are opening the shutters. Most of the time, it is just us working on whatever project came in that morning. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and start again once the lights come back on. It is regular work for regular people. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit, but we are still doing the same thing every day. The floor is always greasy and our hands are usually black by noon, but it is okay.
