We are located at 460-A in the Peenya Super Market area. Peenya is a huge industrial hub, and it can be easy to get lost, but our spot in the market section is fairly well-known. Maruthi Machine Tools is basically where we manage all our business. It’s a busy environment with people coming and going all the time. Our office and storage space aren't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. It’s often a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment of tools comes in. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just come in, check what needs to be done, and do it. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or helping customers find the right machine parts. It’s a lot of technical talk and checking sizes. The market outside is always noisy with the sounds of commerce. We’ve been here long enough that the noise just becomes background music to our work. We usually have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what else needs to be shipped out. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us making sure everything runs smoothly. We like the pace of Peenya; it keeps us busy and the days go by fast.
