Maruthi Engineering

Our workshop is located at 68/69 in Kamakshi Palya. We are specifically on the 4th Cross in the Industrial Lane. You can find us right behind the Kamakshipalya Police Station, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been to our street before. Being in an industrial lane means it is always noisy here. There is the sound of metal being cut, machines humming, and trucks moving in and out all day. We do engineering work, which basically means we fix things and make parts for machines. It is a greasy, loud environment, but we’ve gotten used to it. The workshop is full of tools and scraps of metal scattered around. We wear overalls and spend most of our time on our feet on the hard floor. Sometimes a job is simple, and other times it takes us three days to figure out why a part isn't fitting right. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-job with a wrench in hand and some grease on our faces. The proximity to the police station makes the area feel a bit more organized, though the traffic on the main road is still a mess. We’ve been at this spot for a while and have seen many other shops come and go, but we just keep our machines running and get the work done.
