Our workshop is located at 0 Agrahara Dasarahalli, specifically on the 5th Main Road in the A D Halli area. It's part of the Rajajinagar Industrial Extension, so there is always the sound of machinery and metal clanking nearby. We have been in this spot for a good while now. The space is filled with tools, parts, and various pieces of equipment we use every day. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the grease and metal filings, but that’s just the nature of engineering work. The front door is usually left open to let some air in, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons. We don’t have a fancy office out front, just a small desk where we keep the invoices and a few pens that usually don’t work. Most of our time is spent out on the shop floor actually fixing things or putting parts together. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so we often borrow a wrench or a ladder from each other. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually find something else to do. It’s a straightforward way of working. We show up, look at what needs to be done, and get to it. It’s a bit noisy and messy, but it’s our space and we know it well. We just keep working until the job is finished.
