Mark Equipment & Service is situated at 63/3, 4th Main, in the 3rd Phase of Peenya Industrial Area. Anyone who has been to Peenya knows how massive it is and how easy it is to get lost in all these numbered phases and mains. Our shop is just a regular industrial unit. We spend our days servicing machines and putting together equipment. There is always a smell of machine oil in the air, which stays on your skin even after you go home. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s mostly just a few of us who know our way around a toolkit. The 4th Main can get pretty congested with trucks, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their stuff delivered. Our workspace is organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a bunch of clipboards with work orders on them. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought it would, and we end up staying late under the tube lights. It’s just the nature of the work. Peenya is a tough place to work because of the heat and the noise, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just take each day as it comes and finish the work.
