Marata Darshan Restaurant

We’re located over at No.4 on Millers Tank Bund Road, right behind the Shahwar Nissan on Queens Road. It’s a busy corner of Bangalore, and there’s always something happening outside our windows. We’ve been running this restaurant for quite a while now. It’s a humble place, with simple furniture and a kitchen that’s seen a lot of action over the years. We don’t have a corporate office or a big management team. It’s just us and the cooks making sure the plates are full. The lunch hour is usually our busiest time because of all the offices nearby. It gets pretty loud with people talking and the clinking of spoons. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the basics that we need to serve food to hungry people. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but people still find their way in. We know a lot of the people who eat here because they’ve been coming for years. We focus on getting the food right and making sure there’s enough for everyone. It’s not a place for a fancy date, but it’s good for a quick meal when you’re in the area. We just keep the stove going and the doors open, six days a week. It’s a simple life, running a restaurant in this part of town. We just show up and do the work.
