Maranatha Music Instuite

You can find us in Ramamurthy Nagar. We are a music institute, but it’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We have rooms for different instruments. Sometimes you can hear a guitar from one room and someone trying the drums in another at the same time. It’s not always perfectly in tune, but that’s how learning goes when you're just starting out. We aren't a big conservatory or a professional school. It’s just a place where people from the neighborhood come to pick up an instrument. We’ve got some old chairs and music stands that have definitely seen better days. The walls have some posters on them, mostly just to help with the sound a little bit. Ramamurthy Nagar is a nice area, a bit quieter than the main city center, which helps us stay focused. We spend our afternoons and evenings teaching. It’s mostly kids after school, but some adults come by too after they finish work. We don’t have a big stage or professional recording equipment. Just the basics to get people started on their musical journey. Sometimes we just sit and talk about songs and rhythm. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. We don’t push anyone too hard because we want them to enjoy it. If someone wants to learn a few chords, that’s fine. If they want to get serious, we do that too. It’s just a small spot in the community where music happens. We’re usually there until the evening when the street finally gets quiet.
