Manju Shree Engineering

Our shop is located at 10 Peenya, right by the Katargam bus stop. It is a noisy area with a lot of industrial activity going on every day. We do various types of engineering work here, mostly involving repair and metal fabrication. The place is often greasy and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We have some old machines that have been with us since we started. They still run fine as long as we keep them oiled. The bus stop outside is always crowded, which makes it hard for delivery trucks to get in and out sometimes. We just have to be patient with the traffic. Inside the shop, it is just me and a couple of assistants. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything fancy. We just work under the ceiling fans and hope for a breeze. We take our lunch breaks together at a small table in the back. Usually, we just talk about the day’s work or the news. We don't do any big advertising or have a website. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them we could fix their parts. It is a simple way of doing business and it has worked for us so far. We stay busy with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it is a big order and sometimes it is just a small fix for a neighbor. We just keep the machines running.
