A S Precision Industries

A S Precision Industries is tucked away on the HMT Factory Main Road in Jalahalli, just across from the school. If you know the area, you know it's always had a history with making things. We have been here in unit 41400 for a long time now. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the city center, but we like it out here. Inside the shop, there's always the sound of machines humming and the smell of cutting oil. We spend most of our time staring at blueprints or adjusting lathes to get things just right. It's small-scale work mostly. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes the power goes out or a part gets stuck, and we just have to figure it out ourselves. People drop by because they need a specific bit of metal worked on or a piece for a larger machine that they can't find elsewhere. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Bangalore. We just want to make sure the parts we finish are good enough to use. It gets dusty and hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the roof. We usually take a tea break over by the school gate when things get too quiet. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day. We just keep the machines running.
