Mangaldeep Selection

We've been here on the Main Road in H A L 3rd Stage for a bit now. New Thippasandra is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Our shop, Mangaldeep Selection, is right in the middle of it. Most days start the same, opening the shutters and sweeping the front. It gets dusty pretty quick with all the vehicles passing by. You know how it is in this part of Bangalore. People stop in while they're doing their regular shopping or heading home from work. We don't have a fancy setup. It’s just shelves and the things we sell. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't got around to fixing it yet. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded if more than four people come in at once. Usually, it's just one of us behind the counter. We recognize a lot of the faces around here since they've been coming for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the street. We just stay open until late and try to keep things organized enough so people can find what they need. If you're walking down towards the market area, you'll see us. There's usually a bike parked right out front that we have to keep moving. It’s just how things go here. We like the neighborhood though. It’s got a good feel to it and the tea stall nearby makes decent chai for our afternoon breaks. It’s just a normal shop.
