Mangala Kalyana Mantapa

We are located in Koramangala 6th Block, right across the road from the Ganesha Temple. You can’t really miss it if you are in the 560034 area. It is an old-style building used mostly for weddings and family gatherings. There is a lot of wood and stone involved in the structure. We keep the main hall swept and ready for whenever a family has a booking. It’s not one of those modern, glass-filled halls; it has a more traditional feel to it. People like being near the temple too. Sometimes the bells from across the street ring while things are going on inside. We have a kitchen area in the back where the cooks do their thing when there is a function. The space is big enough for a decent crowd, but not so big that you lose people. We don't do any big advertising or anything. Most people know us because they grew up in the neighborhood or saw their cousins get married here years ago. We just open the doors, turn on the fans, and let people do their thing. It gets a bit warm during the middle of the day, but that is just Bangalore weather for you. We keep the chairs stacked up when nothing is happening. It is just a practical place for people to get together and celebrate whatever they have going on.
