Mandarin Chinese Restaurant

We've been here on Double Road in Indiranagar for a while now. Most people know the spot, it’s right there at No.197/A. It’s not a very fancy place, just a regular restaurant where we cook Chinese food for the neighborhood. My staff and I spend most of our day in the kitchen or keeping the tables clean. Usually, it gets busy in the evenings when people are heading home from work or walking around 2nd Stage. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that behind us. It’s just us. Sometimes the floor is a bit scuffed and the lighting isn't perfect, but the stove is always going. We try to get the food out hot. A lot of the regulars come in every week, so we know their faces. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Buildings going up and down, but we stay right here. It's a lot of work running a kitchen, especially when it’s hot outside. We just keep at it. People come in for lunch too, mostly office folks who are in a hurry. We don't do anything too complicated. Just noodles, rice, and whatever else is on the menu. If you’re walking past 2nd Stg, you’ll see our sign. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody leaves hungry. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here.
