Madan Stores

We are located at 211 on Tumkur Road, right in the Rajajinagar area. It’s a pretty straightforward shop. We’ve been at this spot for years, dealing with all the daily things people need. The shelves are usually packed, and sometimes it's hard to find a specific item unless you ask one of us. We don't have fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a regular ceiling fan that’s been there forever. It gets a bit dusty because of the main road outside, but we try to keep the counters wiped down. You’ll see us here from early morning. Usually, the neighbor's cat hangs out near the entrance. We aren't a big chain store or anything like that. It's just a local place where you can grab what you need and head home. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to restock when the delivery trucks come by on Tuesdays and Fridays. The space is a bit tight, especially when more than three people are inside at once. We know most of the regulars by their first names or at least what they usually buy. It's not a flashy business. We just open the shutters, do the work, and close up at night. That’s pretty much how it goes every day for us here at the store. The newspaper guy drops by every morning to chat for a few minutes.
