M T S Stores is located at 71/1A in Anandnagar, Marathahalli. We are a small local shop that’s been serving the neighborhood for quite some time. It’s not one of those massive retail chains with bright lights and uniform aisles. Our place is a bit more lived-in. The shelves are filled with everything from household items to small snacks, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you’re looking for. We’ve got a counter that’s a bit worn out from all the years of customers leaning on it. Marathahalli is a noisy place with the traffic and the bridge nearby, but once you step into Anandnagar, things quiet down just a little bit. We see a lot of the same faces every day. People stop in for their morning supplies or a quick item on their way home from work. We don't have a big staff, just family and a couple of helpers. The ceiling fan hums quite loudly, but we don’t even hear it anymore. We keep a ledger for some of the regulars and still use a basic calculator for most of the math. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We don’t have any fancy displays or advertisements in the window. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in. It’s just how things have always been here.
