Madan Bar & Restaurent

Being right across from Nataraj Theatre in Seshadripuram means we see a lot of life every single day. The street outside, Basavanna Temple Street, is always buzzing with people and scooters. We opened Madan Bar & Restaurent because this area needed a place where someone could just sit down after a long shift or a movie. The building itself has seen better days, but we keep it tidy enough for the regulars who have been coming here for years. It is not a fancy place with dim lighting or expensive carpets. We have sturdy tables and chairs that can handle a bit of rough use. Some evenings it gets really loud, especially when there is a big crowd coming out of the theater next door. The kitchen stays busy until late, and you can always hear the clinking of glasses and plates. Our staff has been with us for a long time, so they know most of the faces that walk through the door. We do not spend money on ads or social media. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It is a simple operation. We buy what we need for the day, cook it up, and serve it to whoever is hungry or thirsty. Some days are slower than others, but that is just how the business goes in this part of Bangalore. We are just glad to be part of the neighborhood.
