Maa Architects Interiors Designers

Maa Architects Interiors Designers is tucked away at 13/1 on the 2nd Floor. It is a relatively small space but we make it work for everything we need to do. When you walk in, you’ll usually see someone hunched over a desk or on a loud phone call with a contractor. We have racks of catalogs for furniture and hardware that take up most of one wall. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or bits of paper because we are always cutting things out or bringing in samples from sites. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so whoever is closest to the door usually looks up to see who it is. The desks are a bit old and the chairs squeak a little when you move around. We spend our days drawing lines and checking numbers over and over again. It’s a very hands-on kind of place, nothing like those corporate offices you see in movies. There’s a small sink in the back where we wash our mugs, and the clock on the wall is five minutes fast but nobody bothers to change it. We just keep our heads down and try to get through the pile of work on the table. Sometimes the fans are on full blast just to keep the air moving. It is a simple setup for people who just want to get the job finished.
