M M Crane Services operates out of Peenya at the Shoppers Orbit building. We are in C Block, which is quite near the Ganesha Temple. Peenya is a heavy industrial zone, so it’s always loud with the sound of machinery and trucks. Our work involves a lot of grease and heavy metal. We aren't sitting in a clean office all day; we are usually out dealing with the cranes or talking to operators. The Shoppers Orbit area is a bit of a landmark here, so people find us easily enough. We keep our tools and spare parts organized in the back, though it often looks like a mess to anyone else. Managing crane schedules is a lot of work because things always break down or jobs take longer than expected. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the equipment needs to go. The heat in the industrial area can be tough, but we just get on with it. Sometimes we stop at the temple nearby to get a moment of peace before heading back to the noise. It’s a gritty job, and we usually go home with dirty hands. We’ve been in C Block for a while, and we just keep the machines moving for whoever needs them. It is not glamorous, but the cranes are essential for the big projects around this part of the city.
