M L R Convention Center

Our place is located out in Mahadevapura, near the Brigade Metro Policy. It’s a bit of a landmark for folks in the 560048 area. We’ve got the M L R Convention Center set up to handle pretty much any big gathering that comes our way. It’s a large building, so there is always something to fix or a floor that needs mopping. Being near Deccan Gymkhana means we get a lot of local traffic. The parking lot is usually the busiest part of the morning when people are arriving for whatever event is scheduled that day. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking from one end of the hall to the other. It’s a lot of work setting up chairs and making sure the sound system isn't buzzing. We don't really have a quiet season; there is usually a wedding or a company meeting happening every other week. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started, with more buildings going up all the time. We just stay focused on what’s happening inside our walls. Sometimes the air conditioning needs a look, or we have to rearrange the stage for a different kind of performance. It’s just us and a few helpers making sure the doors stay open and the lights stay on. We like being part of this community and seeing all the different people who walk through our doors every day.
