M J Trading Corporation is based over on Subedar Chatram Road, right at number 8 near where it meets Sadhu Vaswani Road. We’ve been operating from this building for more years than I can count on my fingers. It’s a trading business, so there is always some kind of movement happening here. Whether it is boxes coming in from a truck or someone picking up a small order, the place is rarely ever completely quiet. The street outside is a bit of a nightmare for parking because it is so narrow and crowded, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Our office is tucked away in the back of the warehouse area. It is a bit dusty and the lighting isn't the greatest, but it serves its purpose for us. My brother and I run the whole operation ourselves most days. We don't have any fancy software to track our inventory; we just use a thick ledger and some pens. It might seem old-fashioned to some people, but it works for us and we haven't lost a record yet. We deal with all sorts of goods, depending on what our suppliers have and what people are asking for at the time. We don’t spend any money on marketing or flyers because word of mouth has always been enough to keep us going. If you ever need to find us, look for the old wooden door with the small brass plate.
