Lavonne is tucked away in Domlur 7 Bungalows 151. If you happen to walk by our door, you will likely smell the butter and sugar before you even notice the sign. It is the kind of place where we are almost always covered in a fine dusting of flour. We spend hours working on different types of dough and watching the timers on the ovens. It is definitely not a quiet job; there is always a mixer whirring in the background or someone moving heavy metal trays around. The space is filled with people who actually care about how a loaf of bread turns out. We do not really do the whole corporate office thing. We just focus on the heat of the kitchen and making sure the bakes are timed right. Domlur is a nice enough area, even if finding a parking spot can be a real headache for people stopping by. We see a lot of students and folks from the neighborhood who just want a quick treat. The counters get messy fast, and we clean them up just to get them messy again ten minutes later.
