We’ve been based out of Kalyan Nagar for a while now, specifically tucked away on 3rd Cross Road in HRBR Layout. Most people know the Banaswadi area can get busy, but our office stays pretty quiet so we can focus on the drawings and plans we handle here. We are a small team at Lateral Architectural Services Pvt Ltd and we mostly spend our days looking at structural details or sketching out new ideas for buildings. It’s not a fancy setup, just a workspace where we get things done. We usually start early in the morning and work through the afternoon. Living and working around HRBR Layout means we see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. Sometimes people drop by to ask about building permissions or just to see how a project is coming along. It is straightforward work, really. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. Being in the 1st Block makes it easy for us to get around this part of Bangalore. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We keep our heads down and try to stay organized with the different technical requirements that come with architecture. If you're walking near the Kalyan Nagar area, you might have passed us without realizing it since we don't have a big flashy sign out front.
