La Gardenia

La Gardenia is tucked away on Lavelle Road at No.40/2. If you know Bangalore, you know this area is quite central but somehow manages to stay a bit quieter than the main roads. We are right next to Mandovi Motors. The place has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the city change a lot from our front door. It’s a green spot with some trees around, which is probably why it got its name. We don't do much in terms of fancy advertising. Most people just walk in because they are in the neighborhood or they work nearby. We spend our days tidying up the space and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. It’s a simple operation. The staff is local, and we all have our own ways of doing things. Sometimes we're a bit slow when the rain starts and everyone ducks inside at once. The floor gets a bit muddy, and we’re out there with mops pretty quickly. We don't follow a corporate script. If you ask us something, we just give you a straight answer. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We handle the bookings, keep the plants watered, and make sure the gates are open on time. It is just a regular business on a nice street in 560001. We like the pace here and the people we see every day. It is a solid way to spend the work day.
