Krishna Murthy & Group operates out of Gandhi Bazaar on the Pune Solapur Road. The pin code is 41275, if you’re trying to find us on a map. We’ve been working as a team for quite a while now. Most of our days are spent on the road, traveling between different towns for various performances and events. The office in Gandhi Bazaar is where we all meet up to discuss where we’re heading next. It’s a simple space with a few desks and a lot of folders piled up. We aren't very big on digital stuff, so there are a lot of physical ledgers and notebooks lying around with dates and names scribbled in them. Being on the Pune Solapur Road means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks. It’s a busy corridor, but it makes it easy for us to load up our equipment and get moving quickly. The group is like a small family, really. We’ve seen each other through a lot of long nights and early mornings. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when the van breaks down or someone forgets a piece of gear, but we’ve learned to deal with those hiccups. We don't have a fancy reception or a big sign outside. People usually just hear about us from someone else and give us a call. We just focus on getting to the next location and making sure we do a decent job for whoever hired us.
