Krishna Chinai Restaurant Basavangudi

We are over here in Basavanagudi on DVG Road. It is a busy spot at Rajanna Plaza, right near the Netkallappa Circle. People who live around here know us. We aren't doing anything too special, just cooking food that we like to eat ourselves. The area is always crowded, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping on the main road. Our space is tucked into the plaza. It’s not a huge place where you can get lost. You just walk in and find a table. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes if it’s lunch time. The kitchen stays pretty busy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some of the old shops are gone but we are still at No.186/35. We get a mix of young students and older folks who have lived in Basavanagudi forever. The staff is mostly just a few local guys. We don't have uniforms or anything like that. We just focus on getting the plates out. It can get a little noisy with the traffic from the circle coming inside. If you want a quiet place, this might be a bit loud for you. But it's honest food in a part of town that we really like. We’re just happy to be part of the daily routine for people around DVG Road. We keep the menu simple so it’s easy to choose.
